Ship Owners, Charterers, Terminal Operators, Port Authorities and Flag State Administrations.

Our Mariners have held command and senior positions on

Captain Yusuf Soomro

Yusuf spent 21 years at sea, including 5 years in command of Panamax and geared handy-size bulk carriers, carrying a variety of bulk cargoes worldwide. He came ashore in 2001 and has worked with the MCA as a Marine Surveyor, CMA CGM as a Safety and Security Manager and the MAIB, investigating all types of marine accidents. Yusuf has been providing marine consultancy services and providing expert witness at arbitrations and high court since 2011.

I have investigated numerous marine incidents and claims, including collisions, , groundings, fire and provided expert advice and reports. I have also provided expert advice on the safety of ports and terminals, personal injury claims, liquefaction of bulk cargoes, hold cleanliness, cargo securing and navigational/stability issues, including loss of cargo, shifting and damage, and the exercise of prudent seamanship
